Honey Antibacterial Tulle Dressings

A sterile non-adherent wound dressing available in two sizes.  Impregnated with 100% medical grade Manuka Honey it is designed for wound protection, wound cleaning and wound healing.  It is infused with antibacterial medical-grade Manuka honey which promotes healing.  Suitable for treatment of acute and chronic wounds such as leg/foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, infected wounds, burns, diabetic wounds and surgical wounds.  The antibacterial dressing effectively eliminates wound odour whilst providing antibacterial action

These products are licensed to remain on the wound for a 7-day period. The frequency of dressing changes, however, will depend on how rapidly the honey is diluted by the wound fluid and may require daily changes in the initial stages of wound healing.

Each dressing is individually wrapped and sterile, available in sizes 10x10cm or 5x5cm.  An ideal addition to first aid kits in Nursing and Care Homes to support the care being provided to residents.
