Allevyn Adhesive Dressings

Allevyn Adhesive Dressings promotes fast healing of exudate wounds.  It does this by killing pathogenic organisms found in the wounds and therefore reducing the risk of infection.  Each strong and soft non-sterile dressing has an antimicrobial absorbent pad.   With triple action technology to deliver exudate management to support a moist wound healing environment, with the addition of silver sulfadiazine.

This strong, breathable and soft adhesive dressing can be secured in place for up to 7 days (except the sacral area) depending on the nature of the wound.  It is highly absorbent which helps to minimise leakage.  The Allevyn adhesive dressing helps maintain and improve the patients’ surrounding skin for encouraging fast healing as well as providing a safe and secure retention for longer.  It offers the patient a safe and economically-efficient solution to manage acute exuding wounds that will not stick to the wound surface.  Ideal addition to first aid kits within the Nursing Home environment.
